SPSW(steel plate shear wall) system is an effective resist lateral force system.The high lateral stiffness, good ductility, outstanding energy dissipation capacity and high security reserve advantages make it a new effective choice for multi-layer steel structure building. Steel shear wall has higher initial stiffness and post-buckling stiffness, compared with steel inclined support structure, because the shape of steel plate shear wall is rectangular, the processing, installation, transportation is very convenient, so production and installation costs drastically.But the"high civil construction steel structure technical regulation"(JGJ99– 98) cannot guide engineering design for plate shear wall, thus greatly affected the promotion of steel plate shear wall.The current"high civil construction steel structure technical regulation"(JGJ99-98) regulate that shear elastic buckling not precede shear yield, make plate thick or close stiffened, cannot play steel wall economic lightweight advantage. Besides,it dose not conform to the overseas practical application,the application shows that the stiffeners far from the multi-ribbed stiffening.Based on the existing research,this paper investigates longitudinal stiffened ,both transversely stiffener and longitudinal stiffened and unstiffened plate shear wall.First studied the shear buckling performance of longitudinal shearing stiffening plate shear wall, analysis how the the stiffness of stiffeners, stiffener number and aspect ratio influence the elastic buckling performance, found that aspect ratio and stiffness of stiffener has a great influence to shear buckling coefficient, and puts forward the threshold stiffness calculation formula, the new formula considers the torsional rigidity of stiffeners .Then studied the shear buckling performance of both transversely stiffener and longitudinal stiffened plate shear wall, through the studies of several series plate shear wall, puts forward the buckling coefficient calculating formula and the and threshold stiffness calculation formula. Formula has good accuracy, expected to application in engineering. In the process of research also consider the influence of the border's torsional stiffness.This paper also studied in different boundary conditions of rectangular plates under both shear and conpression, including simply supported plate, two side fixed supported plate, fixed supported plate. By changing the scale of compressive and shear stress and aspect ratio to get a series of calculation model, using ANSYS to analysis this series of model ,verify the existing formula,and put forward new formulas.Finally,aiming at the wrong assumption about SPSW,this paper also considered the vertical load. First,studied the rectangular plates under shear and compression,verifies the applicability of existing formula, and put forward new formulas.Then studied the torsional rigidity constraints of borders;Finally studied both the threshold stiffness and critical buckling stress of longitudinal stiffened SPSW under shear and compression. The results of the study show that curve changing trends with the increase of shear ratio, from pure shear state gradually tends to pure pressure condition.This results obtained by the article are as follows:1, puts forward the new standard criteria of threshold stiffness, the new standard criteria considering the influence of the torsional rigidity of stiffeners;2, proposed the threshold stiffness formula and shear buckling coefficient formula, formulas have higher accuracy and can be used in engineering design.3, study the plate under both pressure and shear,put forword new formulas,the formulars can ba used in constraction.This study has important significance in promotes the application of SPSW system,to a certain extent,solve the problem of the steel structure housing industrialization.
