Research On The Applications Of Gps System In Power Grid Construction

With the development and management of the Power Grid,the power industry in the circuit design,construction,site inspection and vehicle management in line,the urgent need to use positioning technology to improve productivity and operational efficiency.GPS positioning management of new projects into the power of its outstanding preferred technology enterprises.This paper introduces the GPS system,detailing the principles of its implementation of location and based on business needs,the key technical aspects and indicators of characteristics is a comprehensive exposition.On this basis,in-depth study of GPS-positioning feature in the power construction applications,such as in high voltage overhead transmission line route selection,line construction in the position,vehicle management in the navigation and positioning,line inspection personnel performance evaluation.Then,on the GPS systemin a time function corresponding research done for a long transmission line fault location problem,a set of timing functions use on the line fault troubleshooting,to complete a change of handware and software design.GPS system through operations in electric power production and engineering construction of the research,improve efficiency,promote the construction and development of enterprises.
