Corrugated crosscut machine, is used for the production line output corrugated cardboard dynamic fixed-length shear. When shearing, the cutting speed must follow the cardboard speed. In the meantime, it puts into effect fixed-length control. So Corrugated crosscut machine is a complex motion control problem. To follow quickly, drive unit is required to respond fast without overshoot, and parking position fast. At present, it also has no specific cross-cutting drive device worldwide. Because of the switching direction problem, the DC drive is not used any more. General inverter-drive approach can not meet the rapidity requirements. This paper mainly designs and researches the drive system of crosscut machine. Based on AC servo drive technology, a smart cross-machine servo driver is designed in the paper. Main circuit consists of a three-phase rectifier module and an intelligent power module. TMS320F2812 DSP is used for digital control. Modular programming idea is used to complete the software design. Using voltage SVPWM based on the rotor magnetic field oriented id = 0 vector control of a combination of programs finishes drive control. For features of the driver system, current regulator and speed regulator adopts PI control algorithm to improve the rapid tracking capacity. P controller is used in position control. At last, the results of experiments and simulation show that the design of crosscut machine control driver is reasonable. The driver has good speed following characteristics to meet the system requirements. It accumulates experience for high-performance crosscut machine entire equipment design.
