With the development of science and technology throughout these years, such as, electronic measurement technology, electric drive technology, computer science and technology, advanced control technology, advanced materials technology has steadily improved, at the same time, motor manufacturing has developed brilliantly, which has made the servo control technology entered into a spring of development, while the servo control system has gradually developed from the traditional stepping servo and dc servo to a new generation of ac servo system which is mainly made up of by the permanent magnet synchronous motor and the induction servo motor.In recent years, servo control system has not only been widely used in conventional industrial production and civilian life but also been rapidly developed in many high-tech fields, such as the laser processing field, the multi-joint robot field, the cnc field, the precision integrated circuit manufacturing field, the factory automation equipment manufacturing field, the satellite attitude correction field, the radar and various kinds of military equipment servo tracking field,the application of flexible manufacturing field and the large automatic production line field.This topic has chosen TI company’s digital signal processing chip TMS320F2812 as the control core of the whole system, aiming to design a set of general ac servo drive system, and the main content of the paper is divided into the following several aspects:Firstly, the paper has introduced the current situation of the power electronics, the servo drive and the digital signal processing technology to illustrate the broad application prospect of ac servo system.Secondly, it has lucubrated the internal structure and characteristics of three-phase ac permanent magnet synchronous motor, and on this basis, it has gave the mathematical model of permanent magnet synchronous motor under the coordinate transformation, it has also established the simulation model of permanent magnet synchronous motor and completed the simulation research.Thirdly, the software part has chosen the CCS 5.5 as the development platform, and based on the theory of motor vector control technology, it has imitated the frequency control algorithm of the SVPWM, and completed the study of the permanent magnet synchronous motor frequency control algorithm.Fourthly, the paper has elaborated the hardware design and the building process of the whole permanent magnet ac servo system, including main circuit, control circuit, drive circuit and acquisition circuit, and finally it has completed the PCB of the servo drive system.Finally, it has also designed a human-computer interface by means of the LabView and completed the real-time display of the permanent magnet synchronous motor’s feature which is associated with electricity. Eventually, it has realized the software and hardware alignment of the entire ac servo drive system. It has proved the feasibility and validity of the whole system and also laid a foundation for further study.
