| This paper is composed of three parts. In the first part, on the basis of analyzing the city-traffic developments, the grade crossings control theory and its method of evaluation, the author presents a fuzzy control plan at the grade crossings and introduces its design method by a example. In the second part, by analyzing crossings environment and various vehicle operation states such as arrival, queuing, trace, conflict, turning, departing and so forth at the grade crossings, the author sets up the mathematical model of crossings shape, crossings control method and varioUs operation pattern of grade crossings and introduces the design method and basic programming frame of general traffic flow simulation system based on two dimensional animation. In the final part the fuzzy control plan at the grade crossings is checked and evaluated by simulation system. The result shows that it is superior to the conventional method. |
