According to the high failure rate happened to the electro-hydraulic converter inthe electro-hydraulic govemor of the turbine, foreign counries and home counrypoured abundat manpower and estate to study the converter in order to improve itscharacteristics. The results are limited. At present, the development of electro-hydraulic converter field is in a living state. Hence, it is of significance to research thetechnology of electro-hydraulic converter.In this thesis, the electro-hydraulic converter with strong restoring-motion wasstudied in theory which is the newest patent technology in this field and the basestructure and working principal were analyzed, the mathematical models of electro-mechanic converter, amplify level and hydraulic amplifier were established, static anddynamic characteristics were studied, the factors affecting performance were putforward. At last, the methods to improve the performance were suggested.The whole performance of the electro-hydraulic converter was studied. In thestatic performance analysis, the ability to prevellt choking and oil contamination, thepefformance of death-area and the restoring-motion rate were mainly discussed. Theeffect factors were found and the improvement means were put forward. In thedynamic performance analysis, the mathematical model of the converter was set up byusing auto-control theory and its performance was simulated by using the SIMULINKsome in MATLAB. According to the linear theory firstly, the main effect factorsincluding the inherent frequency and damping coefficient of the electro-mechanicconverter, the amplification of the level and the positive feedback were simulated bycomputer. On this base, the performance was simulated by computer whileconsidering some nonlinear factors. A certain improvement methods were suggested.Through the study about the thesis, the theory basis and instructive methods weresuggested for the development of electro-hydraulic converter in the future.
