Along with the rapid development of industrial technology, the Electro-hydraulicServo Control Systems are becoming more widespread in many applications. Theelectro-hydraulic servo valve is one of the key components of Electro-hydraulic ServoControl System, and its performance is particularly important for the entire controlsystem’s performance. The electro-hydraulic servo valve test is a key part in theprocess of servo valves’ use, research and production. With the rapid development ofelectro-hydraulic servo valve technology, testing technique associated with servovalves should have further development and improvement. Facing with the issuessuch as how to improve the degree of automation, improve measurement accuracy andreduce the impact of human factors in the testing process, the purpose of this subjectis to make full use of the advantages of computer-aided testing and virtual instrumenttechnology, to research the key issues in the servo valve automatic test systemconstruction such as the dynamic flow measurement, data acquisition and processingmethods, and supporting software design and so on. The main research contents are asfollows:Firstly, analyze the electro-hydraulic servo valve’s performance indicator mainlyfocused on the principles and methods of the dynamic characteristics of the hydraulicservo valve test. Make the test program of hydraulic servo valve static and dynamiccharacteristics. Indirectly measure the dynamic flow of the servo valve throughmeasure hydraulic cylinder piston rod’s velocity. Test the frequency characteristicusing two different methods.Secondly, select the hardwares which are needed in the process of test. Takecomputer, data acquisition devices, sensors and amplifiers for example. Design oilpumping station which is used to supply the system with source of oil. In the pumpingstation, we use proportional throttle valve to complete the automatic test system load,and maintain the stability of the oil source by the proportional pressure relief valvecoordinated with the proportional pressure reducing valve.In addition, focused on the important dynamic characteristics of hydraulic servovalve test, we specifically design the no-load dynamic hydraulic cylinder which isused to dynamic flow measurement. Establish the mathematical model of the dynamiccharacteristics of hydraulic servo valve test system and use Similink software tosimulate in order to analysis the designed dynamic cylinder’s quality, naturalfrequency, and the added location and center-determined closed-loop system how to affect dynamic characteristics of the hydraulic servo valve test. Verify the rationaldesign of the no-load dynamic cylinder and the feasibility of the designed testingprogram.Lastly, Research the method of the occurrence of excitation signal, dataacquisition and processing through virtual instrument, and develop test system’ssoftware based on graphical programming software LabVIEW. Describe how to testthe electro-hydraulic servo valve static and dynamic characteristics with the hardwareand software. Analyze the source of the error in the testing process from view ofhardware and software and take effective measures to reduce the measurement error.
