Since 1960s prestressed concrete composite structures that have advantages of both assembly and cast-in structure have been researched. By 1990s composite frame under vertical monotonous load has been studied, and corresponding results have been concluded. But, if any, little study has been fulfilled on the seructure under lateral low-cyclic and reverse loading. In this paper experimental study on seismic behavior of the frame is conducted using the contrast tests including two models for prestressed composite frames and one for reinforced concrete frame. Based on the test results, the seismic behavior of performance concrete composite and reinforced concrete frames is studied. Effective construction measurements of the structure are provided as well. In order to have the research results applied to real projects, in some proposals about the design and construction for this kind structure have been presented.
