Steel-deck-reinforced concrete slab is one of composite smicture. It make fuIl use ofthe material character which steel is good at tension and concretC is good at compression, its rigidity and ductility and its anti-seismic capability is very good, it can be in ease ofconsmiction and reducing installation time, it also can make good economic returns etc. Soit is adapted increasingly. Because its application and study is late, and its structuralcaPability is not understOod, the smictofe with steel-deck profile as form is noncompositestructure and is used in the wall or roof system, fwthermore there is not clear in ourbuilding code in designing of compositC slab, especially it got off to a late start in ourprovince. In this paPer, for understanding the sAncture property of the composite slab, wemade six pieces of composite slabs with YX-76-344-688 steel deck which was adaPted intwO poini concentrated load with simPle suPPort, and stlldied the structural property andfatigue mechanism When the crush with horizochl shearbond. In the test, we measure thatthe crack generated and developed, and measure the strain of steel or concrete, andultimate bearing caPacity, we also analysed the experiment result and studied the mainfactor that affected the composite bearng caPacity: the shcar span, steel thickness, space ofshear transfer devices, out-to-out depth, steel stud. And we made some discussion in theory. From them, we made a formula for the cold-formed steel deck. The result met well withthe test result and theoretical results. The practical design method presented in this papermay be referenced for a engineering technician.
