With the development of modern technology and the improvement of automation , convey system is applied in more and more industrial fields , such as luggage transportation line in airport, sorting machine system , transportation line in mine , etc . Convey system was driven by rotary motor in the past . The shortage of this kind of system is that the mechanical frictional waste and noises aren't neglectable . This results in the low efficiency and the short life of the equipment so that it can't guarantee the reliability of the system for long term running .This paper will introduce you a new suspending push-type convey system which is applied in some special occasions . The new system is driven by linear motor and controlled by digital signal processor (DSP). Because there isn't middle transmission equipment in the system , it is a more superior way than traditional way that the system is driven by rotary motor in its performance . Utilizing the super function of the calculation processing and the self-contained on chip peripherals of the DSP chip , the performance of the control system can be unproved prominently .This paper bases on the linear-motor-driven suspending push-type convey syetem , and emphasizes the control system and the realization of its control strategy .First, this paper not only introduces the basic principle , the history , the category and the control of linear motor but also shows the development of the control system and technology of motor. Second , the method of PID control and the technology of pulse width modulation are expatiated , as well as their application in linear-motor- driven servo syetem . Third, this paper describes the hardware structure including its operation principle of the control system of the DSP based linear-motor-driven suspending push-type convey system . Also the program modules and the design of the velocity measurement involved in the software realization of the control system are explained respectively . Finally, this paper summarizes the research course and advances the prospect of the project.
