From the view point of system flowage of coal in power generation enterprises,this paper reviews the effect of coal characteristics on the Operation of power plants boiler, and proposes modeled means and methods which expresses the coal characteristics affecting generation cost.The modeling of coal characteristic effects helps power generation and coal enterprises to provide and produce more economic coal for power plants, the function and characteristic of coal quality engineering analysis for power plant is discussed ,the structure of coal quality engineering analysis system is explained combining with the electric produce process.
