Power System Load Forecasting Technology And Application Research

The paper introduces the forecasting theory and its application. At first, the importance of load forecasting and its development actuality are given briefly; then the load forecasting theory is discussed systematically; combined with the reality of power system, methods of medium and long term load forecasting are presented in detail, all these methods are analysed and compared through simulation experiments and a new integrated method is presented based on these methods; at last, the realization of the software is discussed including its structure, functions and key techniques.The software integrated the functions of data input, data output, data querying, load forecasting and security management. The forecast exactness is improved by the integrated method in which the weight of each basic method is decided by error between the virtual forecast result and the real value. It gets a good forecasting result in lab simulation, and will be used in Hunan power bureau, it has good performance and convenient interface.
