Building External Environment, Water Landscape Ecological Research

Water is closely related to human lives. It is human nature that people hope to approach nature, close to nature and improve relationship to the environment. The water landscape ecology has important impact on the building environment. The harmony development of buildings and the environment has considerable significance.From a perspective of ecology and landscape architecture, this thesis introduces ecological conception to a relatively microscopic aspect and mainly investigates the symbiosis relationship between water and buildings in exterior building environment. On the basis of integrated study, the author attempts to concretely analyze the affection of water landscape factor to building ecological environment and put forward the general principles in design of water landscape ecology.The article is divided into five parts. Chapter 1 has a view of properties of water, exhibition forms and meaning of human landscape in the building environment. Chapter 2 and 3 investigate scenical values and ecological effects, conversation and utilization of water landscape ecology, integration of water and buildings, and methods of design with water. Through analyzing the characters of the hot and humid climate and washy terrain, Chapter 4 goes a significance discussion about water landscape ecology and sustainable building environment in hot and humid regions. Based on the design practices that the author has been engaged in, Chapter 5 analyzes some concrete design project instances.Many living examples are cited as grounds of arguments, combined with project practices as exposition. The thesis pays attention to practical possibilities and methods of ecological design. Through the study of this paper, we are encouraged to consolidate the recognition and consideration of effective utilization of natural energy and resources, decrease of urban and building environmental load and thinking of sustainable development of building environment. The capacity of aiding later design practice and study is excepted.
