Vibration control is a technology, which is used in practice widely, such as big construction, bridge, machine and so on. In these places, vibration must be controlled in order to avoid the damage, which is arisen by vibration. In this article. I mainly introduce the control of the super Panama crane' s vibration under the power of the wind.Bridge crane is the main tool used to load and unload goods from steamship. In practice, few people think to its Vibration. Does it means that it does not need control? No. it will not only destroy the machine, but also make the operator feeling inconveniently. So we must control it.The vibration control has two main types: initiative and passivity. I use the modulation frequency tuned mass damper to control the vibration of it and adopt Ansys5.5 to calculate the result of it. The following is my idea about how to analyze and solve the question.1. According to vibration theory .1 draw a conclusion that can be used in the vibration control of bridge crane .2. Analyzing the dynamic character under no power .it includes inhere frequency, shaking model. Through which. I can learn the character of the bridge crane.3. Analyzing the response under the wind power, it includes response frequency of the extended mode, shaking model of the extended modeu response spectrum of the extended model.4. According to inhere frequency .1 design the TMD and it' s parameter and fix it .calculate the result of this status under the wind power.5. Contrasting the response in status which has TMD and has not TMD .and I can find the result of vibration control and the trend which variant parameter affecting the response of the bridge machine.6. In the end. I put forward some ideas and thought in term of my thought.Through researching the vibration control of harbour bridge crane. I have a more deep impression in it and more understanding about it. At the same time, this will offer reference and guide to the research of it for the latter.
