Cims Overall Design And Materials Management Information System Development

Studies on the application of enterprise CIMS project and software development of the MIS system are evolved, and the system structure of the CIMS and the IDEF analysis method are discussed in detail, then the overall design of the enterprise CIMS aiming at some process industry enterprise is introduced, and the software development for material management information system of MIS is presented.The relation between parts of CIMS system and the relation between the CIMS system and its functional condition are reflected by the CIMS system structure, which is a modals collection of various aspects. The CIMS oriented function constituent and the dominance structure, CIMS oriented lifecycle and integrated platform are included in the system structure.The IDEF method is developed based on the structural analysis method. The functional activity and association are described by the IDEF modelling method. It is composed by a series of figures, and elements of the figures are simple cases and arrows. Figures describing the functional activity are named as activity figures. The activities are shown by cases, and affairs dealt with by the system are shown by arrows. IDEF modeling method, a model technique for semantic data, is used to describing the relation between information and forming CIMS information model.Aiming at some process industry enterprise, the CIMS system can be divided into four vertical stratifications such as policy-making, management, operation, monitoring, and into eight horizontal special manages such as manufacture, program, finance and capital, manpower, resource, product quality, technique development, office affairs. Software for material management information subsystem is developed. The CIMS can also be divided into nine submodules such as system set, database management, planned management, stock(contract) management, storage management, capital management, document management, system maintenance and help. C/S model is applied for the subsystem, and Windows NT Sever 4.0 is used for network operation system, besides MS SQL Sever7.0 is selected for database management system.
