The Application Research And Example Of PDM System For Supporting Concurrent Engineering In CIMS Environment

In order to adapt the changeable demands of market, enhance the competing capability of enterprises and take the challenge of 21st century' s manufacturing industries, various advanced manufacturing systems and new idea have been put forward. Among which are some main process integration among technology, such as business process reengineering (BPR) ,concurrent engineering and product data management.But the application and pauperization of BPR. CE and PDM have meet many difficulties in our country, so it is important to study the characteristics and relationship among PDM, BPR and CE. To realize the process management based on PDM and BPR , discussing and exploring implementing method based on applying PDM^ BPR is also significant .which is the foundation of enterprise integration .The paper studies the next aspects under the background of project of CIMS in ZHANGJIAKOU Coal Mining Machinery Company.1 ^ in the first part , by analyzing and discussing the relationship of BPR,PDM and CE technology , present a strategy of realization of process integration based on both PDM ,CE and BPR.2. In the implementation of BPR. describe and analysis the product development process at present. Then optimize and re-construct the business process by allying CE thought and present a schema of organization structure supporting concurrent process.3. Based on the optimized process and the re-constructed organizational structure, the demand of implementing of PDM in the product development system, describe a general design idea of process integration including the system architecture, the hardware and software supporting environment, the design and realization mode of organizational structure, the process data and engineering data management, product structure and configuration management, project management, process management, system integration ,designers and roles management. Under the guidance of the forth blue-print and KMPDM software, a attempt have been made.4. Discuss the steps and methods of PDM implement and propose some opinion andexperience in implementing of project.System integration is transferring from "information integration" and "process integration" toward "enterprise integration". The further will focus on how to implement CPC to support the virtual enterprise.
