Urban Functions, Structure And Spatial Morphological Study Of One

Among all the elements that together form the city's open public space, the space of node in city road is a very important one. It also has great impact on city form as a whole and the city's landscape environment. Therefore the study of the forms of the space of node in city road is of great practical significance.This paper studies the formatting of the space of node in city road, based on the interactive relationships between function, behavior factor and space form. This paper is divided into four parts.Part One is the fundamental analysis consists of three aspects. The author first describes the background and purpose of the study of the form of the space of node in city road to establish an initial theory framework for further discussion. The following section is the conceptual definition, characteristic and classification of the space of node city road. The last section of Part One is a prospect of the future development trend of the space of node in city road based on its current status in China and its history of development on both theory and practice aspects.Part Two is a theoretic analysis focuses on the characteristic and law of the function and the behavior factor. The study of their relationship between the space of node in city road and their interaction are also carried out. Respective solutions are provided based on the above analysis and research.Part Three introduces a design methodological structure with two major aspects, the integrated design and the entity component design. Based on the comprehensive consideration of relationships between factors like function, behavior and form, the author concludes a series of general principles for the design of the space of node in city road. This part also includes intensive and detailed analysis of the entity components of the space of city road.Part Four is case study. The author applies points of view of this paper to the field research on the instances of the space form of node in city road. Exploring improvement recommendations are put forward as the result of this research.Based on the integrated research, the author draws a conclusion that the purpose of design of the space of node in city road is to create a comfortable and humanistic common city public space for residents. Based on comprehensive consideration of function and behavior factors, the design of space should handle the relationships between function, behavior and space form properly.
