Aeroengines are complicated, non-linear and multivariable control systems. With the developments and applications of aeroengine full authority digital electronic control, the requirements for aeroengine performances become higher and higher, and aeroengine control variables become more and more. Intelligence control for aeroengine multivariable control in the full envelope is inevitable.In this paper, the theory and method of intelligence control are used to aeroengine multivariable control. Due to the simplicity and clear physical conception, PID control is banded with fuzzy control and a fuzzy-PID controller is proposed for aeroengine control systems. Banding fuzzy control and neural network control, a fuzzy neural network controller is proposed for aeroengine control systems. Simulation results indicate that the two controllers have favorable dynamic and static control performances in the full envelope.In this paper, the neural network adaptive control is used for control of aeroengines. The real-time simulation experiment has been done on a turbofan aeroengine. Simulation results indicate that the neural network adaptive control system has good real-time performances in the full envelope.
