Hydropower Plant Database Access Web-based Research

With rapid developing and wide using of network technology,net invaded every corner of our lives,including living,working,studying etc. Not only daily lives,but also enterprise activities are affected by the net. Via Intranet,It is easy to deflate the cost,exchange information,improve work efficiency. More the enterprise use the net for information acquiring,more the importance the net is. Database has been the most effective way for information storage and exchange. It is crucial to access database via web technology for an enterprise. For a power plant,the database has its own property,so proper method is needed to access such database. The data of power plant is time-sensitive,an efficient data broadcasting system is very important to implement remote monitor of the power system. Multi-casting technology provides the possibility for such remote monitoring.In this paper,deriving from the developing of the database accessing technology,a method is discussed to access power plant database with ASP/ADO technology. An application with PUSH technology to display the online data of power plant is introduced in this thesis. It is pointed out that the future study for remote monitor should be focused on Multicasting technology.
