This paper is intended to investigate the fireproofing layer concrete with steel-framed structure. The development situation, categories and performance of refractory concrete have been introduced and the method for mix proportion design of refractory concrete has been established. The experiments on mixing refractory concrete with aluminous cement as gelatinous material and general sand, ceramsite and crushed refractory brick as aggregates have been made in order to compare the performances (including compression strength, residual strength, bending strength, elastic modulus, Cl- permeability, etc.) of refractory concretes burnt at different temperature with comment concrete and analyze the effects of water dosage, cement amount, categories of refractoryaggregates, curing system and heat-up speed on refractory concrete. The research result expresses, the performances of refractory concrete of aluminous cement such as compression strength, residual strength, bending strength, elastic modulus decrease markedly with the temperature lower than 300 ℃. From 300℃ to 600 ℃, the performances of refractory concretes with different aggregate change with temperature alike, and at the temperature higher than 600 癈, they act differently. It is concluded that the refractory concretes with aluminous cement have relative excellent performances, among which the refractory concrete with crushed refractory brick as aggregate takes on the best refractory performance, and the one with ceramsite aggregate is in the next place.
