Hydraulic torque converter is a kind of device that can transfer the power. It is widely used in automatic transmission of a car. When it is in using, it has axial displacement. By the development of automobile, hydraulic torque converter is major factor in effecting the capability of auto. On the other hand, the axial displacements of hydraulic torque converter also affect the capability of hydraulic torque converter. It is necessary to have a system simulating the hydraulic torque converter from which we can predict the displacement.This paper is to research a model that can simulate the hydraulic torque converter. We make a 3-D model of a hydraulic torque converter and calculate the displacement and stress of an automatic transmission equipment. Comparing the data of calculation and the test data. When the data of calculation is not viable, modify the 3-D model. Thus, we will get a model that can use in manufacture.The result of the research tells us that the trend of the calculating data and the test data is uniform. At one time, there is deference between them. You can get some advice in this paper when you have the same subject as this.I) When you deal with such a model, you can predigest the model as the paper.II)The capability of the hydraulic torque converter is affected by the pump. When the dimension of the pump is not particular, you can make a model by reverse engineering.III) There is a small flat metal piece on the outside of the torque converter's shell, called tab. System can get the axial rigid displacement of the equipment by measuring this tab's axial movement.
