This subject comes from the research and development of the key technology of the flexible assembly line of the hydraulic torque converter.Because the turbine and pump wheel processing in the company has been dependent on imported equipment in the United States,which inhibits the production of the product category.On the basis of introduction,digestion and absorption of foreign advanced manufacturing technology,a riveting machine with best performance and processing diversity is developed independently to realize localizing of the riveting machine belong to key equipment.The roll riveting machine is simulated and analyzed in the design phase of development to predict problem and improve scheme in advance in this paper.That is to say,218 structural design of torque converter pump wheel roller riveting machine is realized on the basis of converter model YJH254,236 roller pump in the hydraulic riveting machine,to design the machine main body,especially the implementation of part of the roller riveting head,using a computer simulation of technical means to predict a certain processing effect,by means of finite element analysis means to verify the theoretical design of the structural performance,so as to guide the product design to achieve optimal structural performance,improve the actual structure.(1)Finishing roller riveting machine data.This process includes familiar with working principle,understanding the structure defects in the process of the riveting machine running,the deformation causes of damageable parts of rivet head and turbine blade.The machine engineering drawings are collected,the rivet head sizes before the field of surveying are mapped,and the non structural design method and process of standard equipment is understood by referring to the literatures at home and abroad.(2)Carring on the overall design of mechanical systems.The pump wheel product is analyzed and the production requirements are specified,so the design content contains movement scheme,choice of engine,transmission scheme design.Design for gear transmission scheme includes the calculation in the design of transmission device,the calculation of key parts choice,the parameter match.(3)On the entire machine modeling and motion simulation of roller riveting head.The structure of the roller riveting machine 3D models is designed by Solidworks,and the type of process requirement of roller riveting head is specified,and the organization structure of roller riveting head is analyzed.Using Solidworks Motion of mechanism motion simulation to analyze the organization,the roller riveting head displacement of rolling parts is calculated throughout the entire organization or track graph and checked whether there is a collision between roller interference.(4)Carring on the finite element analysis of key parts.The finite element models of the column,the guide rail support,the spindle box,the related shaft are established on ANSYS Workbench.It is verified whether the theoretical calculation of parts size before is reasonable and the strength or stiffness under the action of load meet the design requirements,whether the natural frequency is far away from the excitation frequency,to understand the static and dynamic performance,to verify one by one,as to provide guidance for improving the design of key parts structure or the optimization design.(5)Carring on the optimization design of key parts.According to the analysis results of the various key parts,a decision is made whether optimization is necessary,and then the optimal design method is determined.The structure optimization in the ANSYS Workbench is to relieve their quality,improve the static and dynamic performance of the corresponding parts or service life.
