The paper expatiated the character and the application status quo of the follow control of the electronic drive, put forward the electronic control mode based on digital technology, put up the test-bed, realized the electronic drive control in which the drive ratio and the drive direction could be programmed by using the technology of computer, AC servo and sensor and by electron connection, and analyzed the system's performance with simulation. The paper used the electronic drive test-bed to rebuild the offset press of the single paper aiming at the traditional offset press printing one standard paper needed corresponding size of press roller. The main task of the paper is:Chapter 1 introduced the present technology and the developing tends of electronic drive. It analyzed the character and the technology requirement of the electronic drive, and indicated the significance of using electronic drive technology.Chapter 2 built the test-bed of the control system of the electronic drive, and designed the principal and subordinate system with many drive cells. It used VC and assemble language to design the intelligent control software of the follow control system controlled by position and velocity with the drive ratio and the drive direction could be programmed, in which realized high data acquisition, data disposal and high precisely synchronous control. It analyzed the property of follow error and stability by modeling and simulation. It also gave the improved scheme to the velocity control system for its vibration and setover.Chapter 3 used the test-bed to rebuild the drive system of the offset press of single paper. By taking two absolute drive sections between the main press roller and the paper feeder, using control mode of position loop half closed loop and velocity loop full closed loop, and assorting intelligent control software, the offset press could press continuous paper with length different but needn't change press roller.Chapter 4 analyzed the offset press by simulation and compensated the follow error by adjusting the parameter of the hardware and software. By adjusting, the system realized high precisely synchronous control.Chapter 5 generalized the work of this project and proposed the foreground of electronic drive. The chapter also gave the next ulterior study of the electronic drive.
