Wz The 5xx Infantry Fighting Vehicles Fire Control System Miniaturization

In this paper, the total plan of the micro fire control system(FCS) for WZ 5XX battle vehicle is discussed. PCS modules, the interface of PC/104 bus and a graphic controller for EL display based on CPLD are designed and implemented. Some suggestions to future research and develepment of the micro fire control system are proprosed in the end.Laser range finder is a vital component of WZ 5XX battle vehicle.However, current fielded laser range finders are bulky, heavy, difficult to mount onto weapons. In this paper,a micro laser range finder is being developed.The development of the micro laser ranger finder is based upon using CPLD approach. The new approach reduces parts count, mitigates laser alignment complexity. This makes the development and the fabrication of a compact laser range finder feasible. This paper discusses the technical challenges faced, the results obtained, and conclusions reached during the development of the micro laser ranger finder.
