In this paper, one of the key technology of ship-based vertically launched rocketsystem-turn control system is researched. The trajectory model of the verticallylaunched rocket has been set up at first. Through the calculation of the ideal trajectory, the influence of the rocket design parameter on the ideal trajectory has been analyzed. Secondly, the principle and composition of the strapdown system is discussed. The strapdown system is the appropriate for the rocket system by calculating and analyzing. And on the result of calculation of the ideal trajectory, the strapdown system errors are studied under the condition of different system parameter. So the system parameters can be confirmed in the design. Finally, the principle structure chart of whole guidance system in the vertically launched rocket is given.Result of study of this paper has offered theoretical foundation and datum to the design the turn control system in ship-based vertically launched rocket.
