Since the contamination of the original water, the pollutant in the water such as organic substance, ammonia nitrogen, algae toxin, finally nitrate, pelagic microbe and so on, whose concentration and species are becoming higher and more, deteriorate the quality of drinkingwater seriously. Nowadays, in china, a critical technology--coagulation technology that isoften presented to deal with this trace-contaminated water, whereas the effect of routine coagulation technology is not so well, especially the organic substance is more ineffective. Therefore, choosing an economic and effective coagulation technology to deal with the trace-contaminated water is more and more noticeable. In the study, the author changes the way of adding coagulation, which is called secondary coagulation technology to remove the organic substance of trace- contaminated original water. In fact, it is more effective. So-called secondary coagulation technology is that in the light of keeping the dosage as the routine one, add the coagulation for two times to the original water.Based on a lot of experiment, it is found that the secondary coagulation technology improves the guideline of the TOC of contaminated original water by routine one by 20%, whereas the advantage exists in a low concentration of TOC of original water. In our realistic lives, the market which to clarify the trace-contaminated original water is great. Therefore, the technology has practical significance in practice. The factors that impact the effect of secondary coagulation are investigated, such as the species of coagulant, the proportion and concentration of adding coagulant, PH and so on, and the author finds out the optimal conditions and provide the control parameters for engineering practice.In the study, the author questions and analyzes why the secondary coagulation has the advantages on the fractal theory and traditional coagulation mechanisms, such as charge neutralization and effective collision of the particle and so on, and combine the theory of quality research and quantity analysis.
