The paper introduces the investigation and experiment, of high turbulent combustion system of diesel engine on the altiplano.Accoding to the influent factors of combustion system, the effect of shape and configuration of high turbulent combustion chamber on combustion process of diesel engine is showed by the change of intake system ,shape and configuration of combustion chamber and fuel injection system.Referred and analyzed the developing and researching achievement of high turbulent combustion chamber on diesel engine in the world ,the grooved combustion chamber is designed and developed based on the rationale of designing high turbulent combustion chamber and employed the effect of the grooved of the combustion chamber wall on the spray impingement. The effect of the grooved combustion chamber on the performance of diesel engine on the altiplano has been investigated by altering the major configuring parameters of combustion chamber and differing the shape of combustion chamber.Other content in this paper is the design and investigation of spiral inlet port.The geometries that compose intake port have been repeatedly when intake port scheme was designed.The intake port scheme has been carried out steady-flow test.The experiment data has been analyzed and investigated,then the performance of inlet port has been estimated by the fluid coefficient and the whirl ratio.At last, the spiral inlet port scheme has been selected based on matching relation of the factors of combustion system.In addition,how to "Intake port synthesis performance coefficienf'evaluate engine intake port has been discussed.Finally,the inlet port and combustion chamber designed and machined is tested on 4100QB.The paper mostly investigates the change of performance targets of the engine that three different grooved chambers including two different re-entrant model and one w model match with various intake port and nozzles,in order to realize the influence of chamber geometry on combustion process.The results analyzed have indicated that re-entrant grooved chambers can enhance the turbulent intension in the chamber, improve the combustion proces of diesel engine on the altiplano, beinggroove,re-entrant and convex,and have the farther developing potential.
