IR thermometer been widely used in industry, national defense because its many merits. With the development of science and technology, many projects need measurement temperature of distant and small object and large distance coefficient IR thermometer been used, With the support of Nanwang Multimedia Co. Ltd, the writer triumphantly investigated it, and researched the key technologies. The researches are essential either in theory or engineering.In chapter one, the general situation of IR thermometer is discussed and their performance index is analyzed. The differs of large distance coefficient IR thermometer and that of others is pointed out.In chapter two, the principle of IR thermometer and large distance coefficient IR thermometer is introduced.In chapter three, the low noise pre-amplifier is designed which matched with the detector; Based on the weak signal detection theory ,the signal detecting, amplifying and processing circuit is designed; in this chapter, a new digital phase sensitive detectors(DPSD) method using in-phase sampling summation is put forward and the algorithm is simulated based on the merits of some common DPSD.In chapter four, some factors that affect the precision of the temperature measurement are completely analyzed, the relation formulas of that object emissivity ambient temperature and object-system distance affect the precision of the temperature measurement are deduced according to the differences between calibration and real work condition, this offer the theory for design and calibration of large Distance coefficient IR thermometer.In chapter five, the calibration and experimental research of IR thermometer based on LSM polynomial fitting is put forward, neural network been applied to solve the non-linear between object temperature and signal.In chapter six, the total article is summarized and some theories that need more improving is introduced, and the trends of IR thermometer is forecasted.
