In this paper, a numerical simulation is conducted, which is based on the test data of the model experiment of sloping ground with the help of the MARC program. When the bearing capacity characters of level ground and the foundations adjacent to or above slopes are analyzed, the effect is considered, which includes deformation moduli, density, Poisson ratio, angle of internal friction, stress-strain relationship , slope angle, relative distance from the edge of slopes and relative depth of footings.Based on the theory of limit equilibrium and limit analysis approaches, a new calculation module is presented to study the fracture mechanism of foundations adjacent to or above slopes, which can consider the effect of ascent of fill section at the back of slopes.In the calculation of the ultimate bearing capacity of sloping ground with program written, the mobilization factor of the fill section at the back of the sloping ground in different conditions is gained. And, the bearing capacity factors and mobilization factor can be used in theory analysis and design of sloping ground.
