Power Control Unit (PCU) is the key part of aircraft Electrical Power System (EPS). It is designed to monitor and protect the EPS, and transfer the working state information of EPS and PCU itself to NAMP.This thesis applies the reliability design theory and presents a high reliable PCU with the core of micro-processor. This system adopts dynamic redundancy structure, using software to switch hardware redundancy system waiting and in function. To improve the system reliability, this thesis also designs the BIT (Build-in-Test) circuit and adopts effective hardware and software anti-disturbance measure, to ensure the system safety and working dependability.The result of reliability analysis and the result of proof indicates that the system has met the demands of the preplan target and fulfil the request of aircraft power system.
