Contact surfaces exist in structure of aircraft, which effect static and dynamic analysis. In order to attain more precise result, the effect of contact surface must be considered. The contact problems are non-linear problems, which relate to stress concentration, local boundary nonlinear, no-reversibility of shear force, and so on. The methods of dealing with the contact problems by the finite element method are researched in this thesis, and calculation and analysis combining engineer examples are carried on. The main works and achievements are described:Firstly, the characteristic of contact problems and the theory of finite element method are introduced, then on the base of finite element method, building models about contact problems are discussed, and the basic theories of some algorithms such as general finite element method, super element method and mix finite element method are presented simply. On the base of finite element method about contact problem, building models of the flanged connection and the sleeve connection of aircraft is introduced. When the contact models are being built, an effective method is presented to solve the problem of bringing pre-load force. Based on finite element method about contact theory, the models are validated by several examples. Finally, natural modal of one missile is analyzed considering the contact surface stiffness.
