| Lithium-Ion/Lithium-Polymer battery is a new kind of rechargeable battery developed since 90's. Its high energy density and long life make it very suitable for practical applications, especially portable applications.On the basis of the analysis of the principles of electrochemistry and external characteristics, this paper focuses on the charge methods, cell equalization and the construction of Lithium-Ion/Lithium-Polymer battery management system. Experiment results and detailed designs of a linear charger and a switch-mode intelligent management system are presented. |
