Lifting Eye Plate In The Shipbuilding Industry To Use The Safety And Reliability Analysis

In the ship-building process, the lifting-eye must be applied for the swing, installment and turning over of the big ship subsections. Because the important accident which caused by the destroy of the lifting-eye often happened, the safety of all kinds of lifting-eye became extreme important. But there is not a scientific and precise criterion for the application of the lifting-eye at the present time. In this paper the main study which include the craft, intensity and safety of all kinds of the lifting-eye has been carried on.For the sake of the particular and precise of analysis, in this paper the analysis of the lifting-eye has adopted multi methods from multi points of view.First, the welding craft of the lifting-eye has been studied which validated the feasibility of the CO2 gas shielded welding craft instead of the traditional manual arc welding craft. It can improve the welding efficiency, minish the heat influence area, reduce the residual stress and lessen the welding micro-law by adopting the CO2 gas shielded welding craft. So this can reduce the destroy ratio and improve the intensity of the lifting-eye.Second, the intensity of all kinds of lifting-eye has been studied according to material mechanic theory. On this basis, the bearing load of the lifting-eye has been analyzed and mended.Third, in the paper the intensity and photo-elasticity experiment has been carried on. The rationality and precise of the FEM analysis has been validated through these experiments.Last the elastoplasticity analysis of lifting-eye has been studied for more exploring the intensity capability and mastering safety of lifting-eye scientifically. According to the limit analysis theory, the feasibility and the safety about the structure design of the lifting-eye has been probed. The FEM code ANSYS is applied on analysis in this paper.This project is appointed from Dalian New Ship-Building Heavy Factory Lt Co.
