Cavitation is a phenomenon occurred in the liquid The liquid s form changes the liquid to the stream. For the water, while flowing mediums continuity is destroyed with cavitating, there is full of cavity with steam some position in the liquid. When the cavity of steam with fluid comes into high-pressure area, the steam in the cavity at once coagulates and vacuole crumbles and fall. With this condition, it brings high pressure, high temperature, discharge and irradiance. So a lot of damage is brought with these phenomena, including cavitation damage, reducing efficiency, cavitation yawp, cavitation vibration. Of course, cavitation has certain available function. Now, research region of cavitation has expanded to atomic energy, underwater weapon, excavation, lubrication, biology and medicine etc. Although so, cavitation is considered as masty problem. Because so far we do not know how cavitation mechanism occurred. With the development of our national economy, some science and technology departments press for this problem to solve.Cavitation water tunnel is one of experimental facilities studied cavitation phenomenon. It may handle shipping experiment, hydraulic model practice, cavitation damage, hydro-elasticity experiment, onflow experiment and boundary layer experiment. So far, it is important facilities of working for cavitation characteristic and anti-corrode ability of material. It commonly consists of working part, water fluid system, dissolved gas controlled system and working part controlled system.This paper mostly discusses and studies collectivity design of cavitation tunnel and some relative problem, including collectivity design of cavitation tunnel, method of producing cavity, dissolved gas controlled technique, water tunnel head loss, selection of driving pump and driving electromotor, water tunnels pipeline structure calculation and base frequency.The option of this paper bases practical engineering project. So it has certain learned value. The end of the paper puts forward a designing example with three velocities of working part for using in engineering and research.
