The high pressure vane within vane type pump of VQ35 series are widely used in automobiles. The mast velocity of which can rise to 2200r/min and the higher pressure can get 21MPa. In order to improve the property and lifespan ,the compressibility of fluid must be considered in the process of pump's design.This study are based on VQ35 series vane within vane pump. And the conclusions are suit to other series vane pump. When take into account the compressibility of fluid , the simulation of the process of pre-loading and pre-unloading and the damping action of silencing grooves and the transit flow of pump and the main influential factors of flow ripple and in pump the reducing method are gained. The pre-loading process and silencing grooves are used on port plate in order to avoiding the phenomenon of pressure pulsations, which are the main factors of flow ripple in pump Based on the conclusions some advisements of the design of the pump are gained.1 The degrees of pre-loading and pre-unloading must be decided by the condition of the mast velocity and the higher pressure, which can make sure of the process of pre-loading and pre-unloading, Improving the property of pump.2 When taking into account the characters of variable area silencing grooves and invariable area silencing grooves, the conclusion that the application of complex silencing grooves is the improvement of the flow ripple is gained.
