The Suspension Bridge Cable Construction Traction System

Hauling system is key equipment in the main cable erection of suspension bridge.It is a complex system which consist of many kinds of mechanic and the operators. Each kinds of main cable erection manner has a corresponding hauling system:the wire is hauled by spinning wheel in air spinning erection manner and the hauling system operates in loop way. While in precast parallel wire strand erection manner, hauling system has many kinds of hauling method and the hauling system operates in loop way or in reciprocate way.The reciprocated gantry and hauling system was taken as an example in this thesis to research the key technology in designing and construction of hauling system and its operation technology.The designing technology consists of many aspect such as the design of reeler and unreeler,the design of hauling rope and catway gantry and etc,in which the computation of hauling force and the backward force of reeler is the core. The erection of pilot rope and hauling rope is the core technology in the construction of hauling system and the success of the construction depends on the erection of pilot rope .Hauling system has to complete two job,one is the erection of the catway cable and the other is the erection of the precast parallel wire strand .In the operation ,the setting of speed and hauling and backward force of hauling system is the core technology.The operation standards of mechanic and the quality assurance of cable strand are also important in the operation of hauling system.
