This paper studies the characteristics of super-wet soil in Ningxia liupanshan region and the method to improve it's properties in order to meet the requirements (strength stability and durability ) for subgrade construction.First, on the basis of correlative test reports, this paper brings forward definition of super-wet soil; Second , according to water losing after mixing quicklime test, this paper gets formula that can compute mix ration of quicklime; Third, by study of unconfined compressive strength test, California bearing ratio(CBR )test and modulus of resilient test, this paper gets correlation formula of strength index to content of quicklime, degree of compaction and water ratio(the ratio of water content to optimum water content) with BP neural network and SPSS software. Thus, it brings forward the control criterion of soil-quicklime as subgrade filling material; finally, through analysis of present control method of compaction, this paper puts forward that void ratio control compaction of super-wet soil and double index(degree of compaction and CBR)control compaction of soil-quicklime.
