This thesis entirely analyses data for national & international Highway alignment Design related to safety variable indices, analyses national road standards and gives results on areas with insufficient safety standards, incorporating computer simulation technology using Adams computer simulation versus safety through the medium of erect automobile system dynamics model , road model, driver's model, and observed the interaction of the three models jointly. The real time data is obtained while the vehicle is moving on the highway and noted dynamic behavior of the vehicle at different vertical sections and plane sections to form the basis thereafter for evaluating whether it is good or bad to road alignment design. The thesis indicates that there are sections of the road provided with insufficient safety measures which require optimizing.
