The Design And Implementation Of Computer Modeling And Simulation On Oil Tank Operation

With the rapid development of information technology and the wide use of computer, the application of computer simulation is increasingly popular. The computer simulation training system is a man-machine interface real-time simulation system based on computer simulation technology. It is widely used in many fields, such as electric power, nuclear energy , traffic , petrochemistry and so on. In order to meet the training demand of tanker workers, this paper takes the software of oil tank simulator produced recently as the reference, develops OilTankerSimulation system based on NT platform using VC++ 6.0.The developing process of the simulation software OilTankerSimulation can be described as following: Firstly, utilize the Objected-Oriented Technique to categorize the oil tanker operations into many child objects to achieve certain functions, and compile every object to a class in the programming language C++. These classes are not visual from the outside, and they exchange data and function only through the outer joints. Next, in the environment of Visual C++ 6.0, with the help of many kinds of graph making tools, form a lot of simulation interfaces which can ensure some functions about simulation operating and displaying. Finally, through the real time simulation database and some simulation functions, connect the simulation interfaces effectively with those computing classes to complete the simulation software.First, this paper introduces the architecture design of this simulation system and shows the system configuration chart including such departs: main function component , main frame , memory database , background database and monitoring alarm component.Second, the object is introduced, especially the operations of oil tank. OilTankerSimulation includes such operations: load and discharge cargo oil , discharge cargo and strip , cent oil wash, circle oil wash, sea water circle wash, hot sea water wash, sweep, adjust heeling and vertical, IG plant, IG allot and so on.Then this paper introduced particularly the design of simulation interface and the implement of vivid vision effect. Following is the data processing technology,especially the real-time database. According to the characteristics of simulation data, it is stored in file system , traditional database system and memory database system respectively. In order to insure that the system runs in real time, the data that need to be updated frequently is stored in memory database system. Memory database is realized by use of DLL and file mapping.The last part is the use guide, the author summarizes the whole content and points out the next work to consummate.
