The ballistic recording and analysis system is a dedicated equipment designed and developed for a type of armed helicopter borne antitank missile weapon system to judge if the operation of the weapon system can meet design the design specification or not and to isolate the trouble during system development and scientific research range tests .According to the requirements for special air-borne operating envirenment ,the ballistic recording and analysis system consists of two separate function units : data acquisition and recording system and data processing and analysis system , and the two system are combined organically via series interfaces . The recorded data can realize data transfer to the data processing and analysis system either through serial communication or moving the electronic disc .In this paper , for the data acquisition and recording part , it mainly introduces the overall scheme design , composition , operating principle and engineering realization of the data acquisition and recording system based on the application of an embedded computer (PC104) . For the data processing and analysis part , it introduces the processing and analysis methods for ballistic data processing to achieve the aim to display variation of various parameters though visible graphs to provide reliable data sources for analyzing missile weapon system performance and ballistic quality .
