Yuejin Light Vehicle Braking And Handling Of Research

Since the brake system and steer system are the vital guarantee to the vehicle safety and handling. Improving the braking performance and hadling performance are the important task of the department of the vehicle design and produce. In the paper, the theory of the light vehicle braking and handling has been studied, and braking and hadling test methods have been discussed. Braking test show that Yuejin light vehicle is satisfied with the standard of the GB12676-1999 and has good braking performance. According to the overloading, the paper has processed the braking tests. The result shows that the load exceeds a limit, the vehicle will deflect and have long braking distance, it is a dangerous condition. Based on the handling tests, the vehicle steering is heavy. After redesigning the steering system and tests, the handling portability has been improved and the vehicle has good hadling performance.
