With the development of science and technology, the performance of automobile must be more and more perfect to meet humans need. ADAMS (Automatic Dynamic Analysis of Mechanical Systems) is a simulation software of mechanical system used most widely in the world. And it synthesizes modeling, simulation and optimization etc. It can be used to shorten the time and reduce the cost of research and design.The article aims at A200 Off-Road Vehicle of Jasmin International Auto R&D(Beijing)Co.,Ltd, using ADAMS/CAR, the article builds a whole vehicle model that contains body, suspension, steering-system, tires and stabilize bar etc. Of course, the connection and correspondingly motion should be analyzed thoroughly, and get accurate data as so as possible. First, under the right simulation model, the dynamic performances of suspension system are investigated, we obtain the curves of the suspension with the change of the wheel center. Then a large of simulations has been carried out under the state standard.The results show that the handling stability and ride performance of the vehicle are good with the initial suspension parameters. The simulations results provide important reference for evaluating, improving, optimizing the same type of vehicle. We fine out a good scientific method for the full-car design, solve some difficulty problem of kinematics and dynamics and improve the quality of design .we make some progress in independence design ability of our vehicle industry.
