The automotive braking performance measurement and control system is an testing device which is widely used in many fields, such as the test of new car design, the output test of new car and the regular test of automotive which is holded by the traffic management department for the automotive on the road. According to the rapid development of automotive industry and the situation that the device of our automotive performance measurement has lag behind foreign, people have paid more attention to the research of the automotive braking performance measurement and control system.The research of the automotive braking performance measurement and control system is an all-around applying science including many subjects and fields. The main aim of this thesis is to design an automotive braking performance measurement system and lay stress on the application of the computer controlling technology to try to improve the "intelligence" and "automation" speciality of the system which make it more multifunctional, good-performance, easy-used and with high precision and reliabilityThe contents about the significance, development and situation of the research of the automotive braking performance measurement and control system are discussed in the beginning of this thesis, and the history and development in the future of the Virtual Instrument is introduced. The scheme for the automotive braking performance measurement is emphasized, in hardware and software. The development of the data acquisition and the applying software is introduced.Finally, the testing has been done successfully. The feasibility of the scheme is confirmed by the result. So it can be supplied as reference for the designers.
