With the development of aerospace technology, people think much of improving security and reliability, reducing cost of maintenance. In various methods, vehicle health monitoring technique is regarded widely. It can monitoring and repair main parts and systems.In this paper, the scheme of RLV's health manages and the theories of health monitoring of one sysem of RLV are researched.In Chapter 1, we introduce the background, basal concepts intention and significance of research, development of health monitoring technology for RLV at the present time in the world, and main work of paper.In Chapter 2, research the conceptual framework of RLV VHMS. In this framework, general function and request of VHMS are described, constitution of VHMS is described in detail, and list of subsystems of RLV that need health management is given. Establish conceptual framework of independence on vehicle, monitoring on ground and self-repaired. Technologies on sensors are estimated and suggested; principles and methods for hardware design are defined, and some arithmetic in health monitoring of structure and engine are presented.In Chapter 3, based on FMEA analyse, affirm the components and the failure mode that it needed to monitor. According to characteristics of space manipulators, establish kinetic equation, and analyse locomotor locus of idiographic locomotion process. Empolder health monitoring system of space manipulators locomotor locus by LabVIEW. Research the methods of failure information distilling ang failure diagnoses. We design the health monitory system using LABVIEW. In the system basically actualized the functions of failure diagnosis, instant watch and giving alarms, which may be the base of more deeply research.
