This paper presents a electrical performance testing system for submersible motor pumps based on virtual instruments technology and analyses the intrinsic problem and disadvantage of the current electrical performance testing methods for submersible motor pumps.A virtual instrument is composed of some specialized subunits, some general-purpose computers, some software, and a little know-how. Sufficiently utilizing the hardware resources of computer makes the structures of the system simper and the measure precision of the system efficient improvement. The system is more intelligent, integrated and multi-functional.Based on the testing requisition to the system, design the general structure of the system, and establish the design idea of the system hardware and software. The hardware, software and some key technologies in the testing system are introduced in this paper; Introduced the anti-interference method of the system; In the end, the operating effect of the system is presented.
