| Nowadays, the Oscilloscope technology is progressing rapidly. With the development of the digital technology, the digital storage oscilloscope(DSO) has provided with more powerful functions,such as intelligent wave capturing, parameter analysis, the time-frequence transform, very large scale wave data storing, data share on network, and so on. All the functions will require faster speed of the control system and stronger ability of digital processing .The purpose of the project just is to build a 200MSPS DSO with the DSP(Digital Signal Processor) and FPGA(Field Programmable Gates Array). Compared with the SCP(Single Chip Processor) with less than 100MHz Clock Rate, the High-Performance Fixed-Point DSP(TMS320C6205) has 200MHz Clock Rate. The use of the FPGA can not only make it easy to debug the system, but also cut down the expense and volume of the system, so that the DSO will become portable. In the project, the system integrates a DSP and its external peripherals, a data acquisition system and a FPGA. All of them are located in a PCB(Printed Circuit Board).Thus, if a external keyboard and display interface are provided, it will become a full-functional and low-cost digital storage oscilloscope with higher performance-to-price ratio, stronger competitive capacity in market and widest applied foreground. In this dissertation, the DSO is introduced firstly. And then, the general construction and working principle of the designed DSO are illustrated. The following chapters respectively discuss the theory and design scheme of each module which constitutes the whole system. |
