Flight Simulator Aviation Horizon Control System Research And Design

The paper designs the control and simulation system of the level flight indicator of the flight simulator. The flight simulator is the fixture on the ground, which can simulate the whole flight process, including flying-off, flight and landing. The level flight indicator is one of the instruments in the cockpit system, which is used to indicate the pitching angle and the angle of side slip.The instrument drive uses two-phase hybrid stepping motor. In order to eliminate the vibration in the low-speed condition and the stepout in the high-speed condition, the system uses the sectional speed adjustment which combines the linear speed adjustment with the parabolic one. In addition, the control system adopts multi-turn absolute angle encoder as the position-feedback machine of the rotor to realize the accurate servo control of the stepping motor.The drive software based on VB completes the serial communication between the instrument control computer and the level flight indicator, realizes that the instrument control compute controls the level flight indicator. In addition, the software completes the Dynamic Data Exchange between the simulation system and the drive software.Design the simulation system of the level flight indicator of the flight simulator based on the configuration software, which can simulate the operation of the instrument and display these parameters such as the pitching angle and the angle of side slip. So the system can monitor and control the operation of the level flight indicator.In this paper, the hardware design of the level flight indicator is completed. Otherwise, the serial communication between the instrument control computer and the level flight indicator and the simulator system based on the Kingview are realized. The design can meet the design need of the flight simulator. The design of other instruments in the cockpit system can use it for reference.
