During the process of information systems automation in domestic power plants, the problem of island information robotization systems exist universally. Since lacking of uniform programming and design, software of different manufactures, and even different software editions of identical manufacture have function overlap, and the system data are set and maintenance repeatedly. These lead to tremendous resource waste. The goal of building information systems is to integrate and share of information. The higher level of integration is, the value of information is better, so how to push the integration of information systems becomes an important task. The main goal of conformity is to satisfy the highly share of date resource, reduce the expense of data maintenance, assure the consistency and accuracy of data.Power plant is a typical assets dense enterprise, whose facility variety and amount is great, operation and maintenance of facility is the primary task in power plants. The operation and maintenance efficiency of facility influence the cost of power plant directly. The facility is the most important asset of enterprises, and the important symbol of productivity level, and the matter embodiment of science and technology, and also basic resource of society development. The aging of facility means not only the facility value decline, but also influence the reliability and stability of the power system. The security and stability of the facilities is important to power plants operation.The facilities information is the basic information that many power plant automatic systems need to have, but nowadays most domestic power plants different island software maintain their own basic facility information. There is no uniform facilities information model. This phenomenon is obstacle to power plants information systems development.In this paper, the concept of power plant facility's basic information platform is put forwards. With the OO (Object Oriented) idea power plant facilities are sorted out, the data model of facilities are analyzed, power plant basic information platform isbuilt, the important significance of conformity of power plant date resource is explained. The paper also puts forwards farther development and assume of the information platform. Based on this basic information platform an application system to manage the facility basic information is developed. This application system has friendly and convenient interface, and easy to operate.Visualization is a kind of practical technology developed these years. Because of its high efficiency and intuitionistic intuition in data disposal, now visualizing is comprehensive applied in many fields. The primary function of visualizing is to transform the data information in information systems into intuitive graphic information, then acting on the vision system of people directly, leaving out multifarious data analysis. It is convenience and intuition for users.In this system the 00 methodology is used to describe all the physical attribute of power plant facilities and their space coordinate information. This system can automatically offer the needed facilities basic information to various application systems, and provide information support and basis for decision-making of power plants production, maintenance, purchase and sale. This basic information platform is open, supporting industrial criterions, offering flexible and handy application programme interface, supporting the integration with other function service.The project practice indicates that this basic information platform has good data operating performance, open data operating interface. The interface has fine extensibility, maintainability. This management information system is maturity, conveniently operating, visualized management, intelligent decision-making. It can effectively improve the management level of enterprises, reduce the running cost, has good development future.
