Electro-hydraulic Servo Loading Control System (ESLCS) was the study object in this paper. The requirement of the ESLCS is to ensure the precision and velocity while restraining the strong displacement disturbance surplus force effectively, so, in this paper, the control algorithm and the control platform were mainly studied at a frontal undercarriage ESLCS.At the aspect of the control algorithm, simulation was taken for general PI, the PI of variable structure and the PI of integral separating. The results indicated that the last two methods were better than the first one. A new method called VS-IS based on the PI of variable structure and the PI of integral separating was introduced. The system has quicker response and stronger ability to restrain the surplus force by using this method. A self-adaptive control method based on nerve cell whose weight modifies by using the supervised HEBB learning algorithm was also realized in the system. The simulation result indicated that settle time was shortened to half at the condition of almost the same overshoot compared with general PI, the effect of restraining about surplus force is also better.At the aspect of the control platform, a high performance control card based on the DSP device Tms320VF5402 was designed. This card communicates with PC through PCI bus. The following are its main characteristics: can satisfy the general ESLCS for its ability of controlling two loop each of them has four channel high speed A/D and one channel D/A, strapping 16-bit DO; can satisfy the more complex ESLCS by extending several cards; the boot method of program is flexible to meet the need of different times of system developing and different system by choosing the boot method among no boot, HPI boot, parallel interface boot; can apply to the system that needs high communication speed. Therefore, the high performance control platform based on DSP and PCI bus has the capability of common-purpose. Two cardswere used at the undercarriage ESLCS. A harmonious communication scheme among the driver program, the PC application program and DSP control program was presented in the software. The installation information file and the VXD driver program of the control card were designed. The undercarriage ESLCS software including DSP real time control program and PC monitor/human-machine interface program was designed on the base of function dividing in reason.
