This text regard Gas-Liquid Cyclone(GLCC) separator of air compressor as research object,adopt Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD) to simulate the flow field go on GLCC.The purpose is to probe into fow characteristic pressure distribution of separator under primitive structure and improved structure.This text has introduced the basic theory of the GLCC,including mathematical model and main parameter such as separation efficiency&pressure loss&cut siza,etc,providing some current research situations and experience formulae of theirs at the sametime.When simulating the two phase flow field,liquid particle phase has been add by way of spraying in the entrance.Data and conclusion about separation efficiency has been sum upfinally Adapting the structure characteristic of separator, structurization mesh has been adopted to improved the mesh method,then draw some conclusions of the flow field of the separator on this basis.On the basis of theoritical deduction, this text carry on some discussion of operation parameter &structure parameter with GLCC design,as well as pointed out striving direction of improving the separation efficiency and reducing the pressure loss,which will offer help in the development of new-type separator further.
